The Close became part of the Woodley group in 1989.

In 2006 we embarked on a multi-million pound extension and refurbishment programme which has created one of the finest care homes in Oxfordshire and the surrounding district. In 2011 we opened our new Dorchester suites and this completed a five year investment programme. We believe we have created a home which delivers exceptional care with the ultimate in luxury living.
